4 Year Old Pictures
I decided to just take my own pictures for Jackson's 4 Year pictures. I like how they turned out. I think they capture the sweetness of our 4 year old.....
Jack came up with his own poses, for these next two :)

I think this is my favorite one of Jackson....oh, and Big Dog :)
I took some pictures of Colby in his Valentine shirt too....He had a lot of fun!

Little man is fitting into his 2T pants Aunt Karen bought him for Christmas!

EDAC Appointment
Colbers had his 2nd EDAC appt today (early developmental assessment center). They were looking at him as a 15 month old (which is his corrected age). They told us 1/2 the things they'd ask him to do would be age appropriate and 1/2 would be too hard for him. He was actually able to do most tasks. It was really fun to watch him play with each thing they gave him & complete the tasks! They told us that he is completely caught up to a 17 month old (his real age), and even his speech is caught up! He's 75th percentile for height, and 50th for weight. We're so proud of our boy! Here is Colby's new "cheese" face he gives me when I want to take a picture :) Oh joy..now they're both doing that!
He's getting so tall!

Monster Jam
Saturday night Kaleb & I had a date with Jackson, our almost 4 year old! He didn't know where we were going, only that it was "something to watch." The whole way there he was convinced he was going to the movies! When we pulled into Angels stadium, he thought "oh baseball!" but we told him that wasn't it. Then he sees the Monster Trucks in the parking lot and says, "Oh, they have Monster Trucks here!" So we assumed he had figured it all out. As we're walking up to the stadium, he says, "Hey, when did they change Angels baseball into the movie theater??!" We realized he still didn't get it!! When he saw the field all set up, he got it! We had a great night with our boy!

Jack with mommy & daddy at the Monster Jam!!!

Here is the Dalmation truck and Shocker (who is from Bakersfield!) racing...
At first Jack kept his ears covered, as the trucks were really loud...I don't think he was too sure about it at first!
He rebounded quickly & started getting into it!
Gravedigger was the highlight of the show!

Washington Trip
Thursday night we left for our flight to Washington! The boys traveled great and we had a very nice time with the Thompson/Warmbrodt families...We spent Friday just lounging around (I got to sleep until 11:30!!) and doing a little shopping....It rained most of our trip and even snowed at one point! Colby came up with more words, such as "bbbrrrrr" when he was cold and "down" to get down...Oh and "uck" for Truck! He continued to climb on everything and make his mama nervous!
Jack listened to Ka's Ipod in the airport. Later that evening (midnight) we heard one of the songs Jack had listened to, and he remembered the album art for the song (it shows up on the Ipod)...His memory amazes us!
On Saturday we had a surprise party for Kaleb's grandma Donna's 80th birthday!
The Warmbrodt family at the party (with a new little cousin on the way...coming August 2008!)
Mike & Kaleb messing around at the party....
Colby managed to do without either nap on Saturday...Here he is laying on the floor at the party!
The cousins at the party....
The boys were all more interested in kicking their feet against the cabinet :)
Uncle Josh is so good to all the boys...Here he is playing with Colbers!
After a long afternoon, Jack and Kipper watch a little Veggie Tales and drink their milk :)
On Sunday, we made the rounds to the grandparents' houses. Our first stop was Grandpa Mickey's house (Hank's dad).
Our family with Nana & Poppy...
Four Generations of Thompson men & men-in-training :)
Grandma Rita, Grandpa Mickey, and the boys!
Somebody is done visiting new people :)
Next, we took Grandma Donna (Hank's mom) out to lunch at Applebees. Here is a 4 generation picture...Grandma Donna (Hank's mom), Hank, Kaleb, and the boys.
Colby & Kipper played really well together (they are 6 months apart). Here they are playing at Grandma Donna's house on our last day there.
That evening we all stayed in Seattle, so we could take our flight home the next day & they could start the long drive home. We had a great time just hanging out, eating, and laughing! Kipper did a pretty good job of sharing his Papa with Jack & Colby :) He's used to having him all to himself!
Colby was so cute the last night, when he was eating noodles. He had such fun eating & playing with them, and we got a kick out of the whole scene!

Here Jack is being a bird....He spent most of the trip being a "Gladiator" which makes him very hyper. The little boys weren't really up for it!
What can we say about Kaleb....this is just so our guy!
Nana & Colby playing....
We had family pictures done Saturday night....In this picture, we were all laughing hysterically, but you can only really see it on mine and Kaleb's faces! We were seriously crying at this point...
What good looking cousins!!!

Lazy Weekend
Other than the basketball game, we've had a lazy weekend which we all really needed after a long first week back at work & school. Here is Jack just laying on the couch watching the fire. I thought he looked so sweet! It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that he will be 4 years old in a few weeks!
Colby played in the back yard most of the day! Little Man thinks he only needs one nap a day now...
See my "ball"....Colby's favorite word these days...That and "book"!
This was a dramatic reading of the alphabet book by Daddy...They were all cracking up!

Trojan Basketball
We went up to see the USC v. Washington basketball game yesterday afternoon. It was mine & Colby's first trip to the Galen Center, which is our new basketball arena. It was so beautiful! We had a few snafus...one being we forgot the tickets at first & Ka had to run back up and get them...And then the second being that they wouldn't let us bring our big camera into the center! So, daddy had to run back up again and drop it off at the car! Sooo, the pictures we took at the game were from Kaleb's IPhone, which doesn't take fantastic pictures...but at least we got a few!
The Trojans won the game!

Jackers had a great time at the game! He brought his foam "fight on" fingers to the game to cheer on the team!
Colby just loved the whole experience! He danced to the music, cheered and yelled with the crowd, and ate about a whole bag of popcorn! Oh and he had his first drink of Sprite--he was not a fan!!
Our family right before we left the game!
We were parked on the top floor of the parking garage, and I got this cool shot before we left (with my nice camera!)
After a long ride home (we hit major traffic), the boys were really wound up when they got home....They played a little hoop with their new 'SC basketballs & were literally screaming!
Colby loved to palm the ball & make a basket!
