1st Day of Preschool
Jackson started preschool today! He is so excited & ready to learn. We went to "meet the teacher" yesterday & got to talk with his teacher, Mrs. Dalton. Kaleb & I really like her & are excited about this year. She is really experienced and seems to have a great feel for helping kids learn, no matter what level they are at. Here is a picture of them yesterday.
The kids started playing together right away. He has 6 boys & 4 girls in his class this year.
Jack with his nametag....Look at that precious face!!!
Colby sat right down & started playing, as if he's going to stay :) When we left, he kept saying, "Where's Jack?" I think he thought we forgot him there :)
Jack & Madeline are in the same class again!
This morning we went to Albertons to order Colby's cake for his party this weekend, and Robby Gordon's NASCAR was out front of the store! Jack Daniels (one of his sponsors) was there promoting the car (and their booze!), as the race is in So Cal this weekend. Jack was SO excited to see a REAL NASCAR!!! We are also going to the Angels game tomorrow night, where more NASCARS are going to be!

Northern Cal Trip
We spent the last week up north visiting Nana & Poppy. We drove up this year, as it's just too expensive to fly all four of us. We drove up last Tuesday, on Colby's birthday, and it took us about 9 hours. The boys did GREAT on the way up there, to our surprise! The drive home was more difficult, but we survived. Here are some of my favorite pics from the last week. I've uploaded the rest on the link at the right, called Northern Cal trip. Thanks for a great time Nana & Poppy!
Getting in "Poppy's Bus" to head over to Reno... Jack in a deep conversation with Poppy about baseball....
The two little ones hanging out at the RV park at the hotel....
We made the boys sleep together the last night. We had had it with being kicked & pushed all over the bed! They were so cute sleeping here!
Uncle Josh & Colbers...
The three boys watching The Sandlot in our hotel room....Colby didn't last long :)

Elmo Birthday Celebration
On Wednesday, our first day at Nana & Poppy's, we celebrated Colby's 2nd birthday! We had hot dogs (of course!), and yummy cake...We did a little Elmo theme for our big boy!

Colby had fun opening his present from Nana & Poppy!
It's Elmo shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then the cake came out....none of us really ate any, because Colby dug into the cake with his hands, as if it was his 1st birthday :)
He had a great time with the cake!
Hali's Baby Shower
On Thursday, we had a Baby Shower for Hali & Kenslie. I think they both had a good time :)
Here is Kenslie in her bassinet Kaleb & I got for her :)

Here is a cute shirt Kaleb found for Kenslie :)
Bowling Fun
On Thursday we all headed over to Reno to stay at the Grand Sierra Resort, to celebrate Kaleb's 30th birthday. There was a lot to do there--bowling, swimming, arcade, mini-golf, and go karts. I have pictures of some of that...the others I have to get from Hali!

Here is what Kenslie thought of bowling :)
