New Car!!
After about 3 weeks of researching cars on the internet, pricing out different options, and test driving many cars, we finally made a decision and got a new car! We got a Saturn Outlook. It is a really fun car with fun options on it. It is bigger than my 4Runner, but not too big that I can't park! It has fun options on it like bluetooth, leather steering wheel with audio controls on it, chrome on the outside & inside, and backup sensors...None of that was too important to us, but it came on this one & we took it!
There is the new car in the driveway next to big (little) red :)

Colby was having fun pressing all the buttons while I got these pictures!
This is the front console...it is so fun...It slides back & forth! The boys can also control their own air conditioning with those 3 little knobs on the bottom of the picture. But I can also turn that function off, and just control it from the front.
This is the view from the front seat, looking back. You can see the 2nd row is Captain Seats, so each boy has their own seat (and they can't touch each other!). It also makes it really easy to get back to the 3rd row. The 2 seats also fold down & forward, and also recline! Here Colby is playing with the lights...
This is me sitting in the 3rd row, looking forward. It is a real 3rd row, with lots of room...Not like some 3rd rows, that only a 2 year old could fit in!

Here are the boys watching Caillou.. Colby loves this show right now & walks around the house singing the song! He loves Diego ("de-go")now too. With each week, his vocabulary increases. This morning he said his 1st real sentence when I was unloading the dishwasher. He saw a Thomas cup & said, "Choo choo. I want that one." He has also started calling Jackson "Jack-en"...so sweet :)

Relaxing Weekend...
We have had a pretty relaxing weekend..Yesterday we hung out at the Herticas. The boys all went to a bounce house place, and the girls had a Pampered Chef party. Then we came home & lounged around the rest of the day. Today we did some more lounging, and then took the boys to the park this afternoon. It has been a long week, with me being sick, and now Kaleb is starting to get it. I still don't feel like I am 100%. Here are some shots from our park play...

Kaleb told the boys he'd give them an Under Dog, and Jack kept calling it a "100 dog!" They loved it.....
Colby LOVED it! He would say "thank you da da!" So sweet......

We each took turns playing tag with Jack...he yells "Time out" when he is it & then gets closer to you so he can tag you....

Jack Jack on the balance beam....
Kaleb bet me I couldn't make it across.....I am now $25 richer :)

Decorations Already??!!
It's mid-September, but Halloween is everywhere already. Costumes are already selling out, all the stores have Halloween stuff, and houses are decorated up. Has it always been this way??!! Since I stayed home sick today, I decided to get my stuff out & decorate...I love having it all up :)
Kai has her house all decked out with Halloween stuff & Colby has been so into it! I love watching him get all excited about the "apples" as he calls them :) He was all happy when he came home today & saw I had put up "apples" everywhere. And then the next moment he points up at the light & yells "LIGHT!!" like it is as exciting as pumpkins :) He was laughing so hard at himself....That is my boy!

Of course our USC football stays out front for the season..
Last Angels Game
Last Sunday was our last Angels game of the season...I was already sick, but I didn't want to miss the game. It was pretty hot, but we had a good time.
My little ham.....
I love this one for some reason....
Since it was a Sunday, they had this whole Family Fun Zone at the ballpark. We went over there & saw all the fun things for kids to do. Here is Jack with Scot Shields, our set up man!
The boys got to fill plastic baseballs with sand...
The finished products!!
Daddy Work??
All summer long, Colby loved doing yardwork with Daddy. So last weekend, he heard the lawn mower start up & he said, "Daddy work?" So I took him out front & he kept following Ka around. Finally Daddy asked him to help him & he got to mow the lawn for the first time :)

USC Baby!!!
Yesterday was the big USC v. Ohio State game...I have been sick all weekend, so we didn't party too hard (ha ha), but we got our annual pictures of the boys in their USC garb. We walked all over Ohio State (35-3 was the final score!), and we maintained our #1 ranking! Fight on!!!!
Jack took this picture with my SLR camera...he did pretty good!
Jack Jack wrapped in our USC flag...it can also serve as a cape, if need be :)
I love this shirt!!
The boys doing their "fight on" signs :)
Colby trying to do the "Fight On!" sign!
Kaleb ordered this big flag...Colby really didn't get the whole idea of standing up..Kaleb was squatting down to take the picture, so Colby was squatting down. Gotta love the 2 year old mind!
First Homework Packet
Jack had his first homework packet this week...I was clearly the most excited person in the house :) lol...As you can see, the letter of the week was "J" which Jack loved of course. He did his homework packet all at once. He got to take in something that started with a "J" to school the next day, and he chose Jello :)
My big boy doing his homework :)
Of course little brother needed to do homework too, so he colored...
I was trying to capture how crazy his hair was this day. Most days he has crazy hair, but this day it was extra crazy!
Angels/Yankees Game
On Monday night we had tickets to the Angels/Yankees game. We made it all of 2 innings, but that seems to be the norm this season.
I think Colby was eating some peanuts here, but he sure looks mad!!! He has a lot of funny facial expressions he gives...
9/11
Here is my class on 9/11. The entire school did the flag salute together & then sang some patriotic songs. It was a great day to wear red, white, and blue!!!

Junior Decorating
Last weekend we decorated up our friends' house with Junior stuff. They are a split household--some like Junior & the other Jimmie Johnson. So when they were out of town, we decorated it all up with Junior stuff, our favorite driver. We made the sign, drew a big 88 on the sidewalk, and put up balloons anchored with "AMP" cans, which is one of Junior's sponsors. It was a lot of fun & they were excited about it :)
