Lazy Weekend
After a long weekend of rain & laying around with colds, we went outside Sunday afternoon for some baseball. Colby's been carrying around a bat (or golf club) and hitting any ball he can find, and recently he's wanted to play with the T-ball. Daddy & Jack gave him some lessons!

He's so happy it worked! This is how it's done brother!
Just a little insight into my life as the only girl in the family....Crazy boys always running around & yelling! Jack is hanging off the back of Kaleb here :)
We kept hearing Jack say, "He's eating the paper!" but for some reason it didn't register to either of us. A few minutes later, I see Colby is in fact eating the Andes mint--paper & all! I snapped a quick picture before taking it away from him :)
My handsome boys ready for some breakfast after church....

This is Colby's face after he's been disciplined. He thinks "no" and time outs are funny. We are in for it with this boy!

Happy 18 Months Colbers!
Wow! Our little boy is 18 months old tomorrow! So hard to believe. This is such a great age! His language is developing, he's doing more and more, and is such a happy boy! The tantrums have begun too :) He had his checkup today and got two shots (he didn't cry at all!). He is 80th percentile for his height at 33 1/2 inches tall! He is 50th percentile for his weight, at 26 lbs. I think being sick this last week made him lose a little weight, but he is still doing well regardless! The nurse was noting how fun it is to watch a preemie grow, as their growth rate is just so much faster on a month-to-month basis, and it is amazing at how the body catches itself up!

Here is a pic I found of Jackson 18 months ago!! He looks so young :) This was taken right after Colby was born...
So then I found a picture of Colby 18 months ago :) So little!!!
Bouncing Fun
Last night we went over to the Herticas for dinner, taxes, and scrapbooking. They had this fun trampoline toy that the kids all had fun on! Here are the boys jumping together...
I love this picture of Jack Jack...
Colby & Kaleb playing away on the swing set, while their older siblings fight over the trampoline :)
Colby on the little trampoline....
Jack looks so much like my brother Charley here!
The cute 4 year olds!

Bike Riding & Singing
On Friday when I stayed home with Colby, we really needed to get outside for some fresh air. So we rode bikes out front! Colby actually started riding his tricycle that Santa got him for Christmas. He's pretty cute on it..he just stands and walks the bike forward (Fred Flinstone-esque!)

Colby was feeling better this weekend...Here he is hugging his big bro :)
The boys got an American Idol game for the Wii...Here is Jackson singing :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
The boys & I decorated the house with balloons and planned a scavenger hunt for Daddy, to find his Valentine's presents. Here is the table all set up....
I found these cookies at Michael's that you could write on with food color markers! So I wrote the clues on them for the scavenger hunt! Here is the first one...
The boys were dying for Daddy to get home to start the "challenge," as Jackson was calling it! (He loves shows like Survivor and The Biggest Loser where they have "challenges!")
Here Jack is giving Daddy his first clue in the scavenger hunt!
His first clue led him to his new valentine's jammies!
Jack was so excited the whole way & kept giving away the clues :)
And he found his last clue.....a coffee mug with the kids pictures inside :) We finished off the night with a romantic dinner of take-out taco bell :)
Day Care Party
After Jack's preschool party, we headed over to Kai's for the day care party.
Kai Kai with the boys...
Jack and his buddy Luke....
The kids at the party...you see the babies trapped in their high chairs. They were all saying "ma ma; ma ma" to get out of their seats :)

I liked the Valentine holders Kai made for the kids...
oooohhhh, he got a "choo choo" on his candy!
Preschool Party
I went to Jack's Valentine's Party yesterday at his preschool. Here he is decorating a cupcake. He seemed a little bored :)
Cute bulletin board in his classroom (nevermind the missing apostrophe in "Gods"!)

Jack putting his Valentines into the bags....
His sweet face when his teacher handed him his Valentine bag :)
Valentine's for Mommy
On Wednesday, Ka was home with the boys. When I got home the boys came running out & took me to my "e-prise" (surprise). They had got me Tulips, chocolate covered strawberries, and balloons (although I was informed those weren't really for ME, rather the boys!)....Jack was most excited to give me the Tulips (he knows they are my favorite), and the "moo-sic" card he got me! He's all into the music cards, and Kaleb said they had a hard time getting one that wasn't from a husband to a wife, etc. Jack was very sweet about it :) Oh,and they cleaned the house! That was the real highlight :) lol...

Sick Boy
Colby has been a sick baby this week. He has had a cold for 2 weeks, and Ka took him to the doctor on Tuesday. Turns out he has RSV, which caught us totally by surprise. We spent all last winter trying to avoid RSV since he was so little then...It wasn't on my radar screen this year at all. Anyways, Kaleb stayed home with him most of the week, and I am home today. He's so pitiful when he's sick!
Colby is so funny about time out. He's watched his brother go to time out many times before :) So now, if Colby does something and we say "no no Colby...that's not a good boy," he automatically puts himself in time out! It's like he knows that is where he's supposed to be if he's being bad. I took a picture of him the other night putting himself in timeout....so precious :)
After Jack's party, Kaleb put the pinata up on the patio roof to get it out of the way. I guess the wind blew it down the other day & Colby went and got his bat and started hitting the pinata :) Ka got some cute shots of him....
