Tulips & Lizards
My hubby sent me flowers at work today, for no good reason! It was a wonderful surprise. We've been talking lately about how hard it is to be working parents, with two little boys at home...We just feel spread so thin most of the time, and our marriage has to take a back seat a lot of the time....It is nice to have these little moments where I am reminded what a great hubby I have!!

Then this evening, I was sitting with the boys while they ate dinner (Daddy had a late night at work), and I noticed the legs of my table & the chairs (which are white), were full of dirty handprints. As I was wiping it down, it occurred to me that I am so happy those little prints are there...What a blessing it is to have two beautiful, healthy, happy little boys....They are a product of Kaleb & I, and I was just overcome with how blessed we really are!! I can't imagine my life without those little fingerprints, no matter how hard it gets sometimes :)

While the boys were eating dinner, we saw that Princeton brought a "yizard" to the door...They were mesmorized by it! I finally let them loose and they just watched & watched the lizard...

Jack eventually picked the yucky thing up....The joys of having boys!!

After the lizard fun, the boys sat down for a snack. It was so cute that they sat down together & had a little "bru-der" talk :) I love watching their relationship develop....

Happy Easter Egg!!
We had a blessed Easter this year at Nana & Poppy's house! We went to church, and Jackson went to the 4 year old class, even though he didn't know anyone there. They did the Resurrection Eggs (or "erection eggs" as Jackson called them!) and Jack knew all about it since we have those here at home, and go over them before each Easter....He later told us, "Jesus died because all the people didn't want to die." I love watching him learn about the true meaning of Easter!

Poppy read The Easter Story book to Colby and Jackson....
Jackson finding his Easter basket...he got a big Monster Mutt truck!
Colby was the only one who actually looked for eggs :) I think there are probably some still hidden in Nana's house!
Kippy on Easter morning....
Colby taking it all in.....
Uncle Kaleb making all the boys laugh....
Auntie Hali, Kipper, and baby Kenslie (coming August 7th!)....
The three most handsome boys I know!! (Excluding my handsome hubby!)

Dying Easter Eggs
We dyed easter eggs on Saturday night....Here are some of my favorite photos from the night :)

We watched some major basketball for March Madness this weekend! Here Mike & Ka are checking out a game while taking a break from dying eggs...
Playing at Poppy's
The cousins had a great time this weekend together! They are all at ages that they can finally start playing together and enjoying each other. It was interesting to see how Colby & Kipper played together, vs. Jackson & Kipper....I think a good time was had by all! In this picture, they all hopped into Kipper's Tony Stewart Car....seriously, we didn't even have to stage this picture :)
The boys spent most of the two days out in the backyard....They all ended up with sunburns and scratches, but they had a great time together!! The sandbox was a big hit with them all :)

Colby was obsessed with their big dogs, Amo and Ace. He spent a lot of his time at the fence talking to and feeding rocks to the doggers. Every time they'd stick out his tongue, he'd mimick the action. Oh, and Baby (Colby's manatee he sleeps with) was snagged by the dogs one time and lost a fin :( Good thing Daddy found the fin and Nana performed surgery to fix him!!

And here he was feeding Ace an extension chord :)
Kipper and Colby sat at the fence by the dog run and fed the doggies rocks, for about an hour! They were so cute together :)

Poppy & the boys sat outside all day Saturday just playing...Colby & Poppy had a good laugh here!

Easter Egg Hunt
When had some travel troubles on the way up to Susanville Friday night...We ended up getting delayed, changed flights, and then had to wait around to get our luggage off of the original flight...We ended up staying in a hotel in Reno that night, and Kaleb didn't get to our room until 12:45am with our luggage....But the trip got much better Saturday morning, when we made it to Nana & Poppy's house, and went right to a big Easter Egg Hunt at the fairgrounds. All the boys had fun!!!
Colby walking to the hunt...he looks like he's on a serious mission!!
We got there just in time for the 2 & under group's Easter Egg hunt...Kippy & Colby ran out there and picked up some eggs!!
Nana & Colby hunting....
Nana and Jackson hunting for eggs with the 4 year old bunch...They timed it great, so that we could do the 2 year old one, and then run over and do the 4 year old hunt with Jack Jack...
