Time to go back...
Well our off track time has come to an end :( I am so bummed to be going back to work. The boys & I have had a great time together these four weeks..I am greatful that I get this time off 3 times a year, and that I actually have a job I like. I would rather be home though! Here is a pic of Colby on the day he had surgery..He was pretty happy by the evening time!
Daddy spent some time pitching to Jackson. He hit all 15 balls he had over the various fences already....

Doesn't the day you have surgery, seem like the perfect time to start practicing your batting??!! Colby thought so! Here he is in the evening of the day he had surgery! He was still moving slow, but he was out there.
Colby's latest gig, is to bring as many things as he can to me, and then expect me to keep holding it all :)
Here are the boys playing the new Ocean Wii game they got....They were mesmerized by it!
On Sundays, we like to watch NASCAR. Here Jack & Daddy are in their Dale Jr. shirts..Colby & Mama like Matt Kenseth, but we didn't have our shirts on today :)
Anyone who went to college with Kaleb & I, will recognize this scene--playing Mario Kart!! Kaleb & friends used to play this for 6-7 hours at a time back in college...Jack & Ka go the new version for the Wii, and had fun playing.

Colby's Surgery
Colby had his surgery today and did really well! The doctors & nurses all commented how great he did. I guess kids usually wake up crying/upset, but Colby didn't :) He just wanted me to hold him! Here he is when we first got him into his little hospital gown..how precious he looked!!! Baby came along for the ordeal :)

We had to wait like 30 minutes once we got back there...Colby was his usual hyper/intrigued self! He was flirting with all of the nurses....Here he is trying to convince Daddy to let him walk around :)
After awhile, they gave him this sedative, that would make him calm & ready to go into surgery (all kids get it I guess). It mellowed him out sooooo much! He was so unlike himself! He was looking at these Nemo stickers & kept saying "me-mo" :)

Here he is being rolled to surgery..baby in hand :) He was so mellow at this point!
Home sweet home....

20 Months Already??!!
Colbers turned 20 months old yesterday! I can't believe it! He is such a love bug & has the same sweet soul that I saw when I looked in his eyes in the NICU..He's a real stinker too, and tests the limits constantly! He is a really different kid than Jack was at this age, but I appreciate his strong will and passion for taking risks! Here he is saying "he-wo?" on the phone :)
Kaleb found these cute shirts for the boys yesterday...Colby's is "Mr. Mischief" and Jack's is "Mr. Happy." I think they are very fitting for these boys :)

So sweet....

Baseball Fun
We got Jack a pitching machine, since he likes to have the ball pitched to him rather than use the Tee. He had a great time playing this weekend!Jack hit a few "homers" (over the fence!) and had a great time!
Colby wanted to play too, so he got the t-ball ready & starting hitting..
You gotta take your bottle & baby with you to watch baseball :)

Angels Game
We went to the Angels game last night..Our first family game of the season! We made it all of 3 innings, since the second we sat down, Jackson said, "I'm ready to go night night." I didn't blame him, after our long day at Disneyland. We'll be back for more Angels baseball this weekend!

Two tired people!

Sick Boy
Colby was sick this week...We are pretty sure he was just teething (he cut 2 molars this week), but his whole body was hot and he was just not himself...Here he is laying on the couch with his baby, blankie, and pillow. This speaks volumes about how he was feeling, because this boy never sits down for longer than 10 seconds!!
Here he is this morning--he's back to himself today!!! I think he just wanted Daddy to stay home with him yesterday :)

Disneyland with Aiden
Jack & I went to Disneyland yesterday to meet up with the Ott Family...They were on Day 3 of Disneyland :) The boys were really excited to be together & they had a lot of fun! Jack got to ride on some new rides this time, including Splash Mountain, Star Tours, and the Rockets...It was a fun day had by all!
When we got to the park, we had to wait about 30 minutes for it to open. Then pandemonium began! Everyone started running...people were picking up their kids & running! We too ran to Nemo...It was worth it, because we walked right on the ride!
They tried their best to get the sword out....
We drove the cars of course....the boys were the drivers & the mommies got to be "the gas" :)

Jack went on Star Tours for his first time...He really liked it! He told Daddy it was his favorite ride...
Buzz Lightyear was a hit...it was cute to see them ride together :)
We went on Splash Mountain...Jack said, "it was no fun for me."

The boys on Pirates' Island..they had a lot of fun running in & out of caves....Riding back to the hotel on the monorail...I hadn't done that in years!

Bike Riding
We've been going on walks each evening after dinner lately...It's such a great time :) Even though Jack has been practicing on his big bike without training wheels in the backyard, he didn't think he could take it on the walk..So here he is on his little bike, with the training wheels back on (that we got ready for Colby)....
Jack kept putting on his brakes & then getting off to show us the "mark" it left :)

Jack got brave & went and got his Big boy spiderman bike with no training wheels...he did great!

Aunt Marty Visits
Aunt Marty came to town on Thursday & stayed the night with us. We had a great time hanging out :) Thanks for the visit!!! We love you!Colby talking up a storm to Aunt Marty :)
Jack loves to play darts & he cons whoever comes over into playing with him :) Ignore messy garage....
We went out to dinner at BJs and introduced Aunt Marty to Pazookie (big cookie with ice cream on top)!!!I thought little Colbs looked so cute holding Daddy's hand & crossing the street :)
We went to the park for a little while...They wanted to show Aunt Marty their favorite park :)


Colby wanted to try the big boy swing like his big brother...
Poor Princeton...I don't know how he puts up with Colby!
