Surprise!! We're going Cruising!!
The Herticas came over Sunday to hang out and to help me surprise Kaleb with a cruise for his 30th birthday!! They will be going with us....we are all so excited to go on a vacation without children :) And the boys will get a weekend with Nana, Poppy, and Kipper--they are excited for that!!I decorated the table with flag stuff for Memorial Day, and added the Mexican hat & maracas to celebrate our Mexican cruise we surprised Kaleb with!!!
Here is Ka opening his card that tells him about his cruise! Don't you love the hat??!!

The card I made....

Taking turns playing Leapster....
A scary-weird picture of the kids eating cupcakes!
Playing with the maracas & beads....
Eric & Colby playing....
Big & Little Kaleb hanging out....Little Kaleb kept getting Dr. Pepper cans out of the trash & trying to drink them :)
Wii Playing
The Herticas have a Wii too, so we all played yesterday....Eric got Wii Fit for his birthday, and we had a great time playing with it! Our favorite was the ski jump...You had to use your balance to jump...Turns out my 10 years of ballet didn't serve me well yesterday... I could never get off the ski jump!! We had a great time laughing & playing.....

Butterflies!!!
Saturday we noticed that our butterflies had broken out of their cocoons! The boys were so mesmerized by them!

We had to add flowers to the bottom of the butterfly garden, and then add sugar water to the flowers for them to eat!

Jack "thinks he can dance"!!!
We got out the video camera this week & started getting some video of the boys...The quality is really bad--sorry about that.

One of our favorite summer shows is "So you Think You Can Dance." The boys love it too! Here is Jack watching it & trying to do the dance moves..He was cracking us up!
Say Water!!
Colby was so funny this week..He grabbed a water bottle & said "water" in the funniest way--it's hard to describe, but it was just a sound he makes with his tongue--not any sort of word. We tried to get him to do it again on video...He does it right at the end :)
Poppy!!!!!
Colby loves to play with the phone...tonight he wanted to call & talk to Poppy! Sorry the quality is so bad...I think we need a new camera!

Talking to Nana...
Here is Colby calling Nana tonight....he gives a hug at the end :)

Water Play
This weekend was a hot one! It was 100 degrees both Sat & Sunday....Yesterday morning, we went and bought a little pool for Colby, pool toys, and squirt guns....We pretty much have spent the last two days outside in the water!! The boys have had so much fun...here are a few of my favorites from the weekend!

Big Boy at the Table
We bought Colby a smaller booster seat this weekend, so he can sit right at the table with us. We've always just pulled him close to the table in his big booster chair...Now the boys sit by each other..I think they both really like it :)

Caterpillar Update
So our caterpillars made a lot of progress this week! Each day, we'd check them out when we got home from school. They were truly getting bigger & bigger by the day!! On Friday, we came home & they were hanging from the ceiling of the cup, which meant they'd be chrysalids soon! This has been such a fun process for the boys & us! I recommend it to anyone with kids!
By Friday evening, they had already started make their cocoons..Here they are Saturday morning! They were already done!
So Daddy moved them into the Butterfly Garden....They transported nicely!
And here they are hanging in their Butterfly Garden. Here they will turn into butterflies! We were to tape them to the side, which you can see here...Unfortunately, they've already fallen 2 times. I hope that they make it!
Angels v. Dodgers...Crosstown Rivals!!
Friday night we headed out to the ballpark to watch the Angels beat the Dodgers!! It's always a rowdy crowd when the Dodgers are here....We actually made it to the 5th inning--a record this season! lol...

Jack was enjoying his ice cream!
Peanuts anyone??!!
Colby was all into the game this time. He was cheering, raising his hand & yelling "yah!" like he sees Daddy do at home while watching baseball :) He couldn't really differentiate between Angels or Dodgers..he pretty much cheered for everyone!
The boys watching the Vision Board.....
