Family NIght & Pictures
This week we started to finally feel back to normal, with getting used to being back at work. Unfortunately, we all have a cold right now, which makes for long nights! I miss getting a whole night's sleep :) I have started thinking about doing a 1/2 marathon in May, and Kaleb & Charley are thinking of joining me! I wouldn't have to fundraise this time, and just doing a half won't require the intense running schedule I did last year. We will see! Today we took Jack & Kylie to get their 5 Year Photos done, as we have done every year since they were little. It is amazing to see how old & big they are now! Their first photo shoot was at 3/4 months old :) These are just pictures I took of the photos from my camera, so they don't do the pictures justice!

The choo choo ride all the kids went on after lunch!
On Thursday night, we had "Milk & Cookies Night" at my school. The teachers read to students & we all wore our jammies! Then we had cookies & milk in the multi-purpose room. It was really fun! This is my good friend & 3rd grade teacher, Samantha. We read together in my room! I have her daughter in my class this year :)
Mrs. Thompson reading a book about frogs! (Terrifying, I know!)
Jackson & Madisyn listening to the story! (or posing for a picture!)
My Jack & Colby, and Samantha's Jackson listening to the story!
"O" homework last week....Jack took in oranges from our backyard :)

3 Day Weekend Fun!!
We have enjoyed our 3-day weekend! Shouldn't all weekends be 3 days??!! On Saturday we made cupcakes for John Man's 60th Birthday & took them over to him. I also worked on decorations for Jack's party with Aunt Kristin. Sunday we spent the morning at the park! Lots of laughs had all around :)
The cupcakes were in the shape of a 60, but I forgot to get a picture of it!
The morning at the park was so much fun!!

My sweet Jackson....
Me going across the slider thing...
I love these next 2 of Colbers...

Next we went over to this big hill where the boys were riding the tricycle down the hill..Jack kept trying to crash!!

Even Daddy made it down the hill!

Oh boy--everybody wanted Mommy to go down the hill...Of course, I was too scared!! Here the boys are actually pushing me to make me go!!
And now Colby is yelling at me, "GO Mommmmmyyyy!"
I finally went, but kept my "brakes" on the whole way down :)
Daddy let the boys turn on the sprinklers & get all muddy yesterday! They had so much fun!
You know how much I love baby feet...these look fun!
Hmmmm..guess this will all need to be cleaned before the big birthday bash!!!!

Monster Jam
Saturday night Kaleb & I took Jackson to Monster Jam! It was nice to have a night out with just Jack. We went to dinner beforehand at Ruby's, where we used to go when he was just one :)
All the Monster Trucks lined up!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was there & Blue Thunder (Jack's favorite truck)!
Blue Thunder flying!
Jack got a Gravedigger flag at the end :)
A Night Out!
After a LONG week back at work, Kaleb & I got to get out for a night without the kiddos! We went bowling with our friends Jessica & Craig, for his 31st birthday. We had a great time! Thanks for having us :)

Happy New Year 2009!
We spent New Year's Day & Eve at home...We hung out & watched Wall-e on New Year's Eve & let the boys stay up until midnight. On New Year's Day, the Herticas came over to watch the Rose Bowl (FIGHT ON!), scrapbook, play Rock Band, and eat!

Little Kaleb & Colby had some game going on here...not sure what :)
Jack & Kylie making us some dessert!
I might use this one for blackmail someday :) Colby with Kylie's pink headband on, holding his Handy Manny toolbox :)
Our family on New Year's Eve!
Jack was all into turning off all the lights & yelling "Happy New Year" when Daddy & Colby got home from the store...this was at about 6pm :)

Colby made it all the way to 11:58!!
Jack made it to midnight!
USC Visit
A few days before Christmas we went up to USC to go to the bookstore to get Rose Bowl shirts. We hung out on campus for awhile with the boys & let them play some baseball & golf. We love being there with our boys, as the campus means so much to us. As we were leaving, the football team ran across the road & so we stopped to watch practice! It was very exciting!

The boys in front of Tommy Trojan..

Here are the boys last Christmas in front of Tommy T :)
Colby & Daddy
Colby loves to do whatever Daddy does. I posted before how he puts on his contacts with Daddy, and now he's into shaving with Daddy. Here he is a few weeks ago "shaving" with a comb :) Lucky for Colby, Daddy found this kid Thomas the Train shaving kit for a Christmas gift! It has a little fake electrice shaver & even some "shaving cream." He is having fun with it :)
