Turkey Feast & Awards Assembly
This was our last week at school & was full of fun! We had the Turkey Feast on Thursday, where the parents could come eat turkey lunch with their kiddos. The Kindergartners were all dressed up in their Indian outfits :) I have a vague memory of doing this when I was in Kinder too!
I got someone to watch my class for a little while, so I could join Jack to eat :)

Then on Friday, we had our school-wide awards assembly. Jackson got the Award of Excellence in all academic areas. His teacher also put a note on his award that read, "Jack has passed 8 reading levels in 3 months." We are so proud of Jack Jack!!

Polar Express & Grand Canyon
Our family went to Williams, AZ the weekend of November 13th. We went to experience the Polar Express Christmas train and also the Grand Canyon. We had a wonderful trip!!

When we woke up on Saturday, there was snow on the ground! The boys were so excited :)

Finally, we were on the Polar Express! The boys had been waiting all day long! It was a really magical trip & so fun to watch the boys enjoy themselves! We had hot chocolate & cookies, sang Christmas songs, saw the North Pole, and Santa came to visit!! Each kid got a bell :)

Soccer Party
Jack's soccer team, The Great Whites, had their soccer party at the beginning of November....Jack got his trophy for being the highest goal earner on the team! He had a great time this season :)

Trick or Treating
After a long day of our Halloween party, we went to our church of the "Trunk & Treasure" event. People decorated the trunks of their cars in themes & handed out candy to the kiddos. There was music, food, and games....Lots of fun!! Here are Obi Won Kinobi and "spaceship" (AKA astronaut)!!!!
Colby's NASA backpack was his candy carrier for the night...He was so cute..He's say "Trick or treat" and then turn his back to the person to put the candy in!!

Halloween Party
We had a great time at our Halloween party yesterday!!!

Here is the Halloween party all set up..Ang & I worked hard on the party....We had "mummy dogs" "PBJ pumpkin shaped sandwiches" and "Broomsticks" made out of pretzels & fruit by the foot :)

Happy Birthday to Me!!!!
I celebrated my 32nd Birthday on Friday & had a GREAT day! I got to be at Jack's Kinder party, then my team took me out to lunch, then on to Colby's day care party...and then onto what I thought was just dinner with my family at Chick-fil-a (the boys' pick!)...Turns out my friends were there to surprise me! Kaleb did a great job of organizing the night & picking out a yummy cake!!!
I got this AWESOME chick fil a T-shirt from "your friends at Chick fil a!" Perfect :)

Kinder Halloween Party
On Friday Jackson had his Kinder Halloween party! I am a room mom this year, so I had the pleasure of helping organize the party. It was a lot of fun & a huge success!!
