Swimming & Volleyball
We had a lot of fun swimming & playing beach volleyball at the hotel. Here is a picture of our family, and one unhappy Colby!
Jack got to practice all that he is learning in swim lessons! He did a great job & made a few friends there :)
Colby was truly fearless in the water! He kept jumping in, not worrying about who would catch him. He did this over & over & over....Uncle Mike, Uncle Josh, and Daddy were really good about watching him!
Nana had fun swimming with the boys!
Jack has really been into volleyball since watching the Olympics. He kept wanting to play & finally we just joined in on a game. Mike, Kaleb, and Jack had a great time playing! Here Uncle Mike is helping Jack get the ball over the net!

Silver Lake Visit
On our way home from Reno, we stopped by Silver Lake for about 1/2 an hour. It is such a special place to me. This is Jack's 3rd trip there, and Colby's 2nd. They had fun "skipping" rocks & playing in the water.

Happy 2nd Birthday Colby Ryan!!
Happy 2nd Birthday Colby!!! I can't believe you are 2 already....time has flown by! We are so proud of the little man that you are :) You are such a joy to our family!
We went to this place called Hullaballoos to play & have fun on Colby's birthday morning..He had fun running around & bouncing!

We went to Chili's for lunch so Colby could have a hot dog, his favorite!
They brought him this ice cream & sang to him. He decided to dip his cracker in to eat it :)
When we got home from Chili's, Colby had a boquet of balloons waiting for him from Uncle Charley & Aunt Karen!
He was so excited--this boy LOVES balloons!!

Life with Kids...
I had hoped to be posting fun birthday party pics here today, but we had to cancel the party unfortunately. Colby got some sort of stomach bug Friday night. We took him to the doctor on Saturday & he said even though he didn't have a fever, he could be contagious. So we had to cancel the party, which bummed me out a lot. We decided to reschedule the party to the 30th, so all the baseball goodies will have to wait to be posted here :)
Jessica & Madisyn brought over Colby's present & some popsicles yesterday afternoon. They had his present in this dumptruck. The truck was a big hit! So here is our sick boy, not looking too sick! He was like this all day--he'd be fine & playing, and then throw up. Good times!
He slept all night last night, which was great. It shows he is on the mend! This morning, this is where we found him--underneath our bed! He's never done that, so we're not sure what that's all about!

USC Bedding!!!
I went to Wal Mart today to get some ribbon, and I happened across heaven! There was a whole aisle of USC bedding!! I was so excited! I bought Jack the sheets & a clothes hamper. We already had the blanket :)
Here are the cute sheets up close...
I told Jack to come in & look at his new bed....he hopped up there & I noticed he was wearing a USC shirt already.....love it!

Bakersfield Trip
The boys & I went to Bakersfield Sunday & Monday, to visit Grandma & Grandpa, and also give Daddy a break from kids to work on his projects. We had a great time! Thank you guys for a great time :)
Jack recently told us that he is from China, that that is where Jesus got him & gave him to us :) This all started way before the Olympics started, so we're not sure where he got this idea! Anyway, he tells us all the time things like "Well, in CHINA, they do this or that." He considers himself an expert :) Here he is doing his "Chinese moves." Lucky for him, his "people" are hosting the Olympics this year :) Jack & his nascars...

Jack helped Colby open his present, which was fine with Colby. Grandma & Grandpa got him cute winter clothes :) Thank you guys!
Grandma made Colby a birthday cake! We sang & blew out the candles!
Blowing out the candles...
He thought it was funny to get frosting all over his nose :)
Work, Work, Work!
While we were off playing in Bakersfield, Daddy was getting a ton of work done! He & Eric ran the electrical in the garage yesterday, so we can have real lights, and insulated & put up the first wall! I guess the electrical took awhile to figure out, so next time they work, Ka thinks they can get most of the walls done! Thanks for all your hard work Daddy & Eric!
You can see the wall/gardens Kaleb put in along the perimeter of the yard..It looks so nice! He is close to being done!
