Last Thursday was Grandparent's Day at preschool. Nana came down & had a great afternoon with Jackers! They did a craft, read some books, had a snack, and the kids performed two cute songs. Thanks Nana for coming!!!

Baseball Practice
Here are some pictures from Baseball practice last week...I don't get to go too often, since I stay home with the Colbers. He can't just sit & not bug the boys on the team :) Games are going to be interesting! The team looks a lot better from when I saw their 1st practice! Kaleb is an official coach now, and I've been asked to be Team Mom...Their first game is on March 7th!! Go Mets!

Happy 3rd Birthday Kipper!
Today our nephew Kipper turns 3!! We had fun talking to him tonight & can't wait to see him in about 6 weeks when we head up to his house for a week! It was also 2 1/2 years ago today that we found out we were pregnant with Colby--Kipper's actual birth day! Which means, tomorrow Colby turns 2 1/2, since I was only prego for 6 months..So hard to believe these boys are getting so old!
An update on Jack's eye appt...She said he has 20/30 vision in each eye, which is passing. She wants him to come back again & she will dialate his eyes (that should be super fun). Then she can really see what his vision is like. So far, he likes the idea of having glasses, and picked out some "Avatar" ones. We shall see what God has in store!!

Boys This Week...
Jack got his 1st report card this week! So cute :)
Colby took all Jack's monster trucks outside (ohhh, don't let Jack know!) and placed them like this :)
Tonight while Jack was at baseball practice, Colby brought me all this stuff & said, "Wook Mama..I got all my stuff." He told me about "all his stuff." Love it:) His stuff consists of : Baby, 3 footballs, 1 baseball, tools, and a truck. Not sure if the water bottle is part of his "stuff." :)

Five Year Checkup
Jack had his 5 year check up today..poor guy-5 shots :( It was so sad, because he did cry, but not like a yelling upset cry. He just wimpered & had tears running down his face...OHHH, it broke my heart. It took me back to his 2 month old shots when I cried!!! He really was a brave boy :)
Here are Jack's stats: He weighs 49 lbs, which is the top 10th percentile. I was surprised his percentile was so high--he seems so skinny to me! He is 47 1/2 inches tall, which is the top 3rd percentile for his age...The doctor said we'd never have to worry about people not thinking he is five! He is a tall, skinny boy!
One thing did pop up in the appt...Jack did not pass his vision screening. His vision overall was 20/50. The doctor said that usually kids eyes don't have trouble until 1st or 2nd grade, so it was "concerning" to him. So, we'll go see the eye doctor next Monday & see what comes of this! I'm not sure if this is bad genes working against him, or the fact that he was born 5 weeks early...Either way, we can handle it!
On a cute note, today I asked Jack how it feels to be five. He said, "Well, whenever I tell someone I'm five, or someone says five to me, I just feel grown up." :)
Oh, I weighed Colby while we were there: 37 lbs!
