Colby absolutely loved having the butterflies here! I think he liked them the most of everyone. We kept them up on the counter & he would say, "Mama, I see? I see?" He'd want me to put him up there, so he could "see." He would do this about 10 times a day!
We decided to let the butterflies go on Thursday evening. We were leaving for San Diego that weekend, and it was time to let them go. The weather was also finally above 55 degrees, so it was safe to release them. Jack & I were both a little sad...He said, "Oh, it's sad they are gone." He is definitely my boy :)
Colby waved "bye bye" to each butterfly...and yelled it too :)
